Working with the B2B Institute at LinkedIn is always a highlight. For their newest 2026 B2B trends, they needed a fresh set of marketing assets. We didn’t have the budget for a traditional live production this time around, so instead, we took LinkedIn’s 2D brand guidelines and brought them to life.
Our team included Dean Pagsolingan and Thomas Weinstein of Fylm Media, lead motion graphics artist Adam Kennedy, incredible collaborators Derek Yueh and Danielle Hydro from the LinkedIn B2B team, and myself as the writer for all five scripts. The workflow from script to final animation was a breeze thanks to this small but mighty production team.
Together, this suite of five videos explores how modern marketers can navigate budget cuts, harness event communities, leverage employee networks, rethink AI experimentation, and ditch performed authenticity for real connection. You can watch all five videos on the LinkedIn B2B Institute Trends page.
The Marketing Parallax – Examine how finance and marketing view budget cuts from entirely different angles, and why short-term savings often lead to long-term momentum loss.
B2B’s Bottle Episode – Treat corporate events like TV “bottle episodes” to capture high-trust, intimate moments and turn one event into a month of content.
The Drip Effect – Tap into employee advocacy networks for steady, organic reach rather than relying solely on massive corporate campaigns.
Alice in Ai Wonderland – Explore how professionals actually approach AI with curiosity and experimentation rather than mere efficiency.
Authenticity’s Tightrope – Move past staged corporate theater and performed transparency to build genuine, consistent brand connections.
