I recently wrote and directed a pilot for Rad AI, a San Francisco startup using AI to make radiologists’ lives easier.

The brief took inspiration from the classic “Mac vs. PC” ads, so we staged a showdown between Rad AI Reporting (Chris Morrell), the modern upgrade, and Legacy Reporting (John Clarke), forever stuck using outdated tech. We shot at Bright Cyc Studios in San Jose with a clean, minimal setup to keep the focus on the performances and dialogue.
The challenge was making something highly technical feel grounded and relatable to radiologists, while balancing parody with authenticity.
